Delivery and postage

How quickly can I expect my order?

I aim to turn around every order within 1 working day, assuming it's a stock item rather than made-to-order or custom.  For UK orders, the post then takes another 1-2 days.  I usually take Sundays off if I don't have a weekend craft fair, and I try not to work too late into the evening.

So, if you order on Monday morning then you should get it by Thursday. However, if you order on Friday evening, it should be with you by the following Wednesday as the first post collection will be Monday.

At Christmas, because of the increase in orders and the pressure on deliveries, allow a little longer.

What postal service do you use?  Do I have to wait in to sign for it?

I use Royal Mail, Tracked 24.  This gives you email updates as to delivery, and is usually quicker than First Class.

I don't use a Signed For service because my postal boxes fit through most people's letter boxes, so you don't have to wait in or collect from a delivery office.

However, for more valuable orders I use Special Delivery, which does have to be signed for.

Can I collect from an event?

Yes, just email me so I make sure to have it with me.

Can you send it to a different address?

Yes, that should be an option at the checkout.

Can you send abroad?

Yes.  Please contact me in the first instance to check postage costs and estimated delivery times.

About the jewellery

Is your jewellery suitable for people with allergic reactions?

Yes!  Both Sterling Silver and 14 Carat Gold Fill are hypoallergenic.  I also carry titanium and surgical steel earwires on request.

Are clip-on earrings available?

I can attach a sterling silver clip-on fitting to the majority of my sterling silver earrings for a small additional fee.

Where can I see your jewellery?

I do lots of events, but mainly in Cornwall.  The main out-of-county event I do are currently Royal Bath and West Show in June in Shelton Mallet, the Henley Craft Fair in August at Stonor Park, Henley, and the Country Living/Good Housekeeping in London in November.

What if it doesn't fit and I'd like a different size?

Not a problem, just email me to arrange exchanging for another size.

What if I lose one earring?

I can make a replacement! It's usually half the price of a pair, plus p&p.

However, gemstones can be variable, in size, colour, shape.  You have the choice of sending me an image and letting me work from that, or - for the best match - returning the singleton to me and then I'll find the best stone to match with it.

Can I have a different ear fitting/clasp to the one on the website?

Yes, I have lots of different styles of ear fittings and clasps - lever backs, kidney, studs etc.  Just email me and let me know what you'd like.

Can I have a different length to the one on the website?

Yes, that's usually not a problem. If it's very much longer, there may be an extra charge.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes and no. If it's along the lines of what I make already, then yes - for example, a mixed gemstone necklace in your choice of colours.  If it's different to what I usually make - a ring, for example, or something chunky - then no.

I love working on custom orders, especially in the first half of the year when I'm not doing as many craft fairs.

Buying for someone else

This is going to be a present; can they exchange it if they don't like it or it's the wrong size?

Yes!

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes. They can be posted or emailed to you or the recipient. They come with a unique code that they can then use either on this site, or at a craft fair.

Can you gift wrap?

Everything comes in a box as standard, along with a card that says what the gemstone is and that it's the real thing.

I can also wrap in luxury gift paper and ribbon, and add a card for a small fee.

Can I send a Birthday/Christmas/Mother's day card at the same time? Can you write a message?

Yes, I have a selection of cards you can choose from, and I can write a message on your behalf.

MOB/MOG and Bridal Jewellery

Do you do bridesmaid sets?

Yes, my jewellery is particularly suited to bridesmaid sets as it's possible to have the same design but with different gemstones so it's personalised.

Or you can choose a gemstone to match the wedding colour scheme.

Can you match the colours in my dress?

Yes, with the proviso that I use natural gemstones so getting a precise colour match may not be possible.  I always send over images of the gemstones, or a selection of gemstones, so you can decide.
