This necklace is made with one of my favourite combinations, amazonite and apatite. The apatite is a wonderful translucent sea turquoise, and the ammonite has a beautiful milky opacity. In this design I've used chips, rounds and rectangles to add variety, as well as a magnesite oval central stone. Finally, baroque freshwater pearls add lustre.
This combination makes me think of the sea in St Ives Bay after a storm. It has that same mix of translucency and milky turquoise, where the sand has mixed with the clear water.
